Terms of Service
JammyJar ("we", "us") is an AI image generation and library product, built and operated from Switzerland. By creating an account or using jammyjar.com you agree to these terms. If you use JammyJar on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorised to bind it. You must be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live.
The service
JammyJar lets you generate images with AI models, extract visual styles from images you upload, organise your library with themes and tags, collaborate with others in shared workspaces, and optionally publish images to a public library. We're a small, independently run product — we ship improvements continuously, and features may change or be retired over time.
Your account
Sign-in is passwordless via email codes, so keep access to your email account secure — you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. One person per account.
Credits and payments
Image generation consumes credits. You can buy credits as one-time packs or through a subscription, processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; cancelling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current period. Credits are not money: they're non-transferable and can only be spent inside JammyJar. Spent credits are non-refundable. If you're an EU or Swiss consumer, you have a 14-day withdrawal right for unused purchases; by generating images you ask us to start delivering immediately, and the withdrawal right lapses for the credits you've spent. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice — changes apply from your next purchase or renewal.
Your content
You keep all rights to the images and prompts you upload. To run the service, you grant us a licence to host, process, display and back up your content — for you, your workspace members, and (only if you publish) the public. You're responsible for your uploads: only upload images you have the right to use, including as style references.
Generated images are yours. To the extent we hold any rights in them, we assign them to you. Be aware that AI output may not be copyrightable in every jurisdiction, similar prompts can produce similar images for other users, and outputs may unintentionally resemble existing works — review before commercial use. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Publishing to the public library
Publishing an image makes it and its prompt visible to anyone. You grant us the right to display and distribute published images as part of the public library, and other users may view them. You can unpublish at any time; the licence ends then, but copies made while public may persist.
Acceptable use
Don't use JammyJar to create or share content that is illegal, that sexualises minors in any way, that depicts real people in intimate or misleading contexts without their consent (including deepfakes), that harasses, defames or promotes violence or hate, or that infringes others' intellectual property. Don't misuse the platform either: no reselling access, scraping, reverse engineering, circumventing credit or rate limits, or probing our security. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without refund of remaining credits.
AI disclaimer
AI-generated output is probabilistic. It can be inaccurate, low-quality, or unlike what you asked for — a generation that ran counts as delivered, even if you don't like the result. You're responsible for how you use what you generate.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time in the app; your data is then removed as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. On lawful termination by you, nothing further is owed either way; unused free credits have no cash value.
Warranties and liability
JammyJar is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost data, business interruption), and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use JammyJar after that means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland — unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you a different forum.
