What is JammyJar?
JammyJar is an AI image generation workspace. You get the best image models — Gemini, GPT Image and Recraft — behind one prompt box and one subscription, plus reusable style themes, tags and a shared library that keeps every image together with its prompt and settings. Start free, no credit card required.
Is JammyJar free to use?
Yes. JammyJar has a free starting tier called Taster, with a monthly allowance of free credits that refreshes automatically — no credit card required. It's enough to try the models, build a theme or two and start filling your library. When you outgrow it, paid plans add more credits, commercial use and extra features.
How do credits work?
Each image costs credits based on the model and resolution you pick — from 50 credits for the cheapest model up to a few hundred for premium ones, always shown on the model card before you generate. Failed generations are refunded automatically. Subscription credits refresh monthly, while top-up credits (available on paid plans) never expire — they survive plan changes and cancellation.
Which AI image models are included?
Every plan, including the free one, includes Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, GPT Image Mini, Recraft V4.1 and Recraft V4.1 Utility. Paid plans add Gemini 3 Pro Image, GPT Image 2, Recraft V4.1 Pro and Recraft V4.1 Vector. One subscription, one prompt box — no separate accounts, bills or manuals per provider.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes — every paid plan (from Jampot at $5 per month) covers personal and commercial use, and generated images are yours. The free Taster plan is licensed for personal use only. As with all AI-generated work, review outputs before commercial use: AI output may not be copyrightable in every jurisdiction.
What are themes?
Themes are reusable visual styles. Drop in up to three reference images and JammyJar extracts their style, or just describe the look you're after. Apply a theme to any generation to keep a consistent look across everything you make, and share themes with your team so everyone stays on-brand.
Can JammyJar generate vector (SVG) images?
Yes, two ways. Recraft V4.1 Vector, available on paid plans, generates genuine editable SVGs with clean layers — built for logos, icons and illustration. On Megajar and above you can also convert any raster image to SVG for 50 credits. Every image also exports as PNG, JPG, WebP or AVIF.
Can I use JammyJar with my team?
Yes — JammyJar is built for working together. A workspace is a shared jar: everyone's images, prompts, themes and tags live in one library that stays in sync. Invite people by email, by link, or automatically by email domain. You can also share any single image with a link, or publish it to the public JammyJar gallery.
Where is my data stored — and is it used to train AI?
JammyJar is built and operated from Switzerland and complies with the GDPR and the Swiss FADP. Your images and data are stored in Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1). Prompts and reference images are sent to the model provider you picked solely to produce your result — your content is never used to train AI models.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, anytime from your workspace's subscription settings — cancelling stops all future charges. Any top-up credits you've bought never expire and survive both plan changes and cancellation, and you can keep using the free Taster plan with its monthly credit allowance for as long as you like.
